New beach

A lovely sunny walk on the beach and when I finished, the class arrived at the beach for sports. I kept a safe distance so they wouldn’t recognize me, but got the chance to sneak a peek at the long jump competition. Where else to have it but in the world’s largest sand pit? 😀

Lunch at Black Coral, but unfortunately, we haven't been very satisfied with the food lately, so we will probably take a break from there.

We then jumped in the car and drove towards Klong Khong. We parked the car at New Beach and walked along the beach via Coconut Palm Beach to Klong Khong. The beach is much rockier and more coral-filled than our beach and it gets deep right away. You have to find the right spot where the sand dunes take the big waves.

We went for a swim and got somewhat rinsed out by the waves. You get sucked out just as strongly as you are then washed back with the waves to the shore. If you're lucky, the bikini stays on. However, coarse sand grains had to be washed away in deeper water.

When we got home, we relaxed in the pool and enjoyed the calm water.

We spruced ourselves up and took a car to Lanta Lilly for taco night. Not so much for the food but for the company. Always a bunch of kids! Today, half of Sanuk was there, and even the teacher showed up. Of course, the troubadour got the kids up to sing the Sanuk song.

Everyone lounged in the pool and sang back and forth, but then most settled with their phones, and that was our cue to say goodbye.
