Scooter and beach hanging

A bit of a lie-in today and then a continental breakfast at home.

Then we hopped in the car and drove up to Garden Hill where we stayed last time to have a look around.

We met the neighbors we had then and chatted a bit. After that, we went down to 'our' villa and were greeted by a woman. I explained why we were there, and she invited us in and showed us around. Fantastic people, and I heard a familiar accent and asked if they were possibly from the Borås area, which they were. This led to some good laughter. They had enclosed the outdoor kitchen as they had quite a lot of trouble with monkeys. One weekend while they were away, they even put zip ties around the fridge and freezer, but the monkeys managed to get this off, topple the fridge, and eat everything inside. I understand their decision. We shared what we had been up to and mentioned that Lawa had peed on their wall when we took her diaper off, which made them laugh. They were so happy and asked if we wanted to come by another day too.

We also went down to the pool where we had spent many hours, and it was the same except for some positive adjustments with Relax areas under cover.

Mulle went to return the car since we felt we were done with it. Lawa and I went down to the beach and built a sandcastle. Lawa said that you are not as scared of sand as Dad is, so do you want to join in building? I sat down and soon had sand all over me, and Lawa enjoyed that I was going all-in on the task.

We swam quite a bit, and the waves were really high, but there was lots of laughter.

We then walked home and met up with Dad and jumped into the pool.

In the afternoon, she finally got hold of Noelia and they played some Roblox, as she misses her ♥️ And when she saw the pictures from the Advent party at school, she got a tear in her eye because she wished she could have been there. But then she said she absolutely does not regret that we came here.

I forgot to mention yesterday that we took a truck home yesterday and it was a bit windy. I’m attaching a picture of this 😀

In the evening we went down to our beach and sat at Majestic Bar for dinner. Lawa immediately ran into a classmate and disappeared, but we sat and enjoyed the sunset with good drinks. I ordered a Hot Pan, mostly because I like the fire when it’s cooked.

We stayed on and enjoyed the evening, and Lawa bought scooters that light up to practice more on these. The guy who sold them was fantastic and taught Lawa and a few others how to do it. They also got to have some other fun, and when Lawa finally sat down with us, she was sweaty from head to toe!

We treated ourselves to a customary evening dip and went home to our lovely neighbors to get an update on what was happening there.
