Relax beach

No matter where you are in the world, it’s the weekends that you live for. The whole family gathered and free.

The day started with Muay Thai training for Lawa, and they are quite tough on her as they see potential in her. Today, she received nearly private coaching from her favorite 'entand', as we call him. He teaches her so much and is fantastic in making the techniques fun to learn.

Lawa watches with wide eyes and follows all the instructions she receives. She is slowly but surely learning how important it is to maintain balance and keep her guard up by her head. Today, a friend she really likes, Bonnie, also joined her. So it became extra fun.

After training, we quickly packed up and jumped into a tuk-tuk with our favorite driver. A new round on Memory Lane.

We intended to have breakfast at a place we like, but it was completely dead and in a state of disrepair. Unfortunately, six years and a pandemic in between.

Instead, we went into Casablanca Resort and had a meal, the place that had just been completed when we were here last time and had a few guests. We enjoyed some time swimming in the pool but then made our way down to the beach. The bottom was very muddy, changing from knee-deep to chest-high with every step. And there were some serious waves!

I had also prepared a little fun on the way and set up a 'Nissedörr' in the sand. She no longer believes in this, but was fully on board with the concept, and we had a good laugh trying to take photos without shadows.

On the way home, we had to stop at the only pharmacy that has strawberry-flavored rehydration solution and stocked up nicely.

In the afternoon, Lawa played Roblox with Noelia and we got to catch up with Anna and Niklas for a while.

We had decided to eat at Indian bar, and when we finally found it further down Klong Dao, we didn’t recognize the place. It turned out they had moved and it was completely deserted. We had a sympathy Chang/drink but headed north again for dinner.

We found a nice spot and the first people we ran into were the couple living at Garden Hill, whom we visited the other day. I had forgotten to bring my phone then but could now show old pictures from when we were there. And it turned out that Lawa’s beloved gardener is still around, so we’re considering swinging by there again to say hello.

They asked if we had been to Easy bar before, and I said I actually had no idea, but when I searched for pictures, I found one from this restaurant when we ate here with the Bjuvlings clan.

Lawa found the poja vendor on the beach again and they had a really fun time. Our waitress also took one of Lawa’s pojas and put it in her back pocket, and when Lawa saw it, there was a bit of a chase! 🤣

Tomorrow is an early day for Lawa who is going plogging. School starts at 7:45 already. So it’s going to be an early evening for all of us.
