Today started with a parents' coffee morning at school. A bit of information about what will happen in the near future and some hotels advertising their activities. And a terrible coffee.
Then I went to continue my search for strawberry-flavored electrolyte replacement, which is the only thing Lawa can drink. But we couldn't find any more boxes, and we've thoroughly searched all the pharmacies in the area.
Next was a visit to the fruit guy to shop, and then I had to go into 7/11 to cool off. I was sweating profusely.
I bought what I thought were plums, the kind you can buy in Turkey. But it turned out to be gigantic seedless grapes!
My foot still isn’t healed, so longer walks are a bit tricky, so I took a tuk-tuk home.
I prepared a fruit platter for the guests who came after school, which were classmates Betty and Doris with their parents.
The kids swam for a long time, and we adults got a little alone time.
They then ran off to buy ice cream, and we adults took the opportunity to cool off a bit.
Then a thunderstorm rolled in again, though it was somewhat shorter than yesterday.
The girls absolutely wanted to go out and run in the rain.
We others arranged for a pizza delivery and a Thai guy who spoke fluent Swedish showed up. Unexpected!
A nice evening that ended with an overtired Lawa who couldn’t even muster the energy to read at bedtime.
