The day started cloudy so I waited with my walk. We don't have any sun at our house so we are far from as tanned as we usually are during the Swedish summer. Not to mention our light-skinned daughter who barely has any teeth on her body. I don't want to get tanned she says🤣
Today Lawa went with the school to a rubber plantation and they got to carve rubber from the trees themselves. They have such incredibly fun activities at Tjaitemat. What adventures she got to experience.
I had a little adjustment with work and realize that reality is soon coming at me with great speed and it's not a cotton castle you come home to. However, I have promised myself not to work 60 hour weeks anymore but to stick to a normal weekly schedule. Family first!
Lawa had a big mess at school yesterday so there was no Thai boxing today. The cleaners came in the middle of my tune-up so I had to sit on the terrace. Lawa and dad set off to find yarn so they could finger crochet.
When we were all done, we headed to school and played some ping pong with the neighborhood kids while waiting for the cleaning to be finished. I was so thirsty I left early, but then realized we forgot to bring the key and the cleaners had locked it. We all jumped in the pool while waiting for the key to arrive.
We then went to a market to look for a special pair of shoes, but there were none there. However, father and daughter enjoyed all the food, including the largest selection of sushi. I had a chicken drumstick.
We then jumped into a tuk-tuk and continued looking for shoes, but didn't really find what we were looking for there either. So it will have to be a Lazada order.
Once home we finished checking the advent calendar and then went to bed. Two days left of school!

Sunny morning and long walk on the beach. Was going to get a massage, but changed to a pedicure and new red toenails. Another mom was there too so it was a nice chat. I even convinced her to wear the same color I had on Monday, as it would look great with her tan. She had never worn anything but red before. You could call that influencing, so I am an influencer 🤣
Lawa brought some friends from school with her family. It was a nice afternoon of swimming and hanging out. They were going to an acrobatics class and invited Lawa, but she didn't feel like hanging from curtains, she said.
However, we met up at Walking Street later for dinner together. Our enterprising girls (3) and little brother wrote notes and put out a cap to earn money doing acrobatics and pogo. They managed to collect a whopping 112 baht.
My only demand was that Lawa give his money away to someone who needed it more, so the troubadour drew the winning ticket tonight. What entrepreneurs!
We also hung out with Mr. Poja for a while, who trained the girls and gave them tips. And they got to squeeze ALL the toys he had in the store.
On the way home, we chose a disco car, much to Lawa's delight.
