After breakfast, we have to tackle the dreaded grocery shopping first. We all know what happens to hungry sailors, and we want to avoid that at all costs.
We walk to the supermarket, and since there’s no taxi available for the return trip, two brave women roll a shopping cart down the hill to the marina. So we’ve already had our first adventure of the day, complete with curious glances from passersby.
Hardly is everything stowed on board, and finally, it’s time to cast off! Since many boats have left for a regatta that morning, we have plenty of space to maneuver and soon glide southward.
The wind is still fresh, so it’s back to the sailing jackets and wool hats. We leisurely sail past small islands, sleepy villages, and tiny churches that cling to the rocks like swallow nests.
In the evening, we discover a small, sheltered bay. On land, there are terraced gardens, the water shimmers turquoise, and a golden sunset envelops everything. It couldn't be more perfect.
All hands on deck!

The wind is still a bit nippy, so it’s back to wool hats and sailing jackets. We drift past little islands, sleepy villages, and tiny stone churches dramatically perched on cliffs.
By late afternoon, we find the perfect bay – terraced gardens onshore, turquoise water below, and a golden sunset spilling across the horizon. We couldn’t dream up a better ending to the day.
