BLOG 1: The Route

On our 2026 tour 'Central America', we will first fly with Air France over Paris to Panama City. There, a city tour and a tour of and on the Panama Canal are planned. (Stay in Panama for 3 days).
The next destination is San Jose in Costa Rica, which is the clear focus of this trip. After visiting the capital, we will head to the northeast of the country to Tortuguero National Park. Afterwards, we will start our road trip with a rental car, which will take us along both the Caribbean and Pacific coasts, as well as into the interior of the country. (Stay in Costa Rica for 21 days).
The next country is Nicaragua. Main destinations include the cities of Leon and Granada, but the capital Managua and its nature and landscapes are also on the agenda. (Stay in Nicaragua for 6 days).
To conclude, there will be a flight to Mexico City. Unfortunately, due to a flight cancellation by Aero México, the stay there has been shortened by one day, but the main destinations, the Anthropology Museum in Mexico City and the Pyramids of Teotihuacán, remain on the itinerary. (Stay in Mexico City for 2 days).
On the way back, we will first return to Panama due to booking and fare reasons and from there finally back to Europe.
