Day 4 (31.05) starts off much too early!
During the night, the wind shifts to the north. While it is weak, the swell is coming directly into the supposedly sheltered bay.
Sleeping is out of the question with this rocking. So, out of the bunk and into the warm clothes, and cast off the lines. At 3:13 AM, we leave Lövegrund and motor against the light wind heading north. As the morning progresses, the wind picks up a bit, and we can sail.
In the early afternoon, we dive back into the skerries to steer toward our destination for today, Söderhamn. But the weather god seems to have it out for us today. Shortly after entering the skerries, fog rolls in and robs us of visibility. Slowly, and hoping that all the buoys and rocks are indeed where they appear on the chart plotter, we feel our way toward our destination buoy by buoy.
Around 4:30 PM, we reach the harbor of Söderhamn, where the fog has now lifted.
