(22.07.) The weather really should read the forecast instead of always doing whatever it wants. Yesterday it said today would be cloudy with a light wind from the south.
This is how it started this morning as well. Shortly after, the sky clouded over and it started to rain. Now in the evening, it hasn't stopped yet. Additionally, there has been a moderate, gusty wind from the west.
After leaving our anchorage, we wind our way through the islands heading west to sail south towards Strangnäs in the afternoon, west of Rumsö.
As expected, we just missed the bridge opening in front of Strangnäs at 15:10 and have to wait until 17:10.
Fortunately, we can tie up at an old pier during the wait and don't have to drift in the rain for 2 hours before the bridge.
After passing the bridge at 17:10, we enter the guest harbor of Strangnäs and tie up there around 17:40 after 34 nautical miles.
