(16.07.) The original plan was to explore the archipelago of Åland in the coming days.
However, this was thwarted by the weather forecast. A storm with heavy rain is predicted for this region over the weekend.
It doesn't make sense to weather these days in Åland, as the wind is supposed to come from the west in the days that follow. To return to Sweden, we would have to fight against it.
To avoid this problem, we will loosen the lines around 08:00, stop at the gas station, and then head back to Sweden.
There is no wind today. The sea is like a mirror. Thus, we will cover the entire distance under motor and drop our anchor around 17:15 in the shelter of Granhamn island.
Tomorrow we will return to our home port Bosön to ride out the storm and rain there. Afterwards, we will continue to explore the Stockholm archipelago for the coming week.
