On September 23, 2026, as the conclusion of my month-long journey across the Philippines, I have chosen an island that evokes a range of feelings: Boracay.
On September 19, 2026, I travelled from Bacolod on the island of Negros to Iloilo on Panay. Of all the Philippine cities, Iloilo could become my favorite.
After Dumaguete in the southeast of the Philippine island of Negros, I visited its larger rival Bacolod in the southwest in mid-September 2026.
In mid-September, I spent five days on Siquijor Island, an hour's boat ride from Dumaguete City on Negros Island. I would have liked to stay much longer.
