Most beautiful thermal spa ever!

Today we visited the beautiful thermal spa in Merano and took advantage of the last day of the summer opening - it was wonderful! We've never seen such a beautiful swimming pool, and we've been to quite a few! There are about 20 pools, spread across indoor and outdoor areas, with water temperatures ranging from 16 to 36 degrees. We mainly stayed in the warmer pools, as we feel comfortable from 28 degrees on! 😁

It wasn't too crowded, and there was plenty of space for swimming, lounging, and strolling. They also have a large natural swimming pond with an adjacent turtle pond, which thankfully is fenced in! The weather was perfect, around 27 degrees with hardly a cloud in the sky. The outdoor area is gigantic and maintained like a park, simply fantastic! Of course, the view is also a dream, surrounded by mountains that peek through the palms and pines. Starting tomorrow, only the indoor pools will be open, which is a real shame in this glorious weather. 

Otherwise, we made ourselves cozy in the apartment, grilled in the evening, and walked halfway through our vineyard round. The sunset over the Schlern is soooo beautiful to see, especially through the vines. Today a lot of harvesting took place, there are hardly any grapes left hanging.

Now I am focusing on the grapes in my wine glass, while Michael is enjoying a Forst Doppelbock. Another day in paradise!
