Montiggler Lake

Today was a rather cozy day, but no less beautiful! It started off a bit cloudy, and we took our time for a relaxed breakfast. In the apartment, we moved the dining table so we could sit side by side and enjoy the wonderful view. There is now a chair under the dining lamp so we don't bump into it all the time! 😂

The well-known Montiggler Lakes are nearby, and it doesn’t really matter whether the sun is shining or not; a walk in the forest around the smaller of the two lakes is always a good idea. So we did that, and just as we arrived at the small café by the beach, the sun came out again, and we enjoyed our coffee under the blue sky. ☕️

On our way home, we made a quick stop at MPreis because we forgot something during our initial shopping. As usual, we came out with much more than what was on the list.

In the afternoon, it was all about coziness and an excellent cake from the pastry shop (ah, how wonderful vacation is!) and to ease our guilty conscience, we took a walk around the village before moving on to dinner. Soon, there will be wine or beer with the right snacks, and then that will be enough for today!

Let’s see what tomorrow brings. The night is expected to bring thunderstorms, and it's already getting cloudy and windy. We will see!
