Vinschgau
Hard to believe it's already Friday again - where does the time go? We took advantage of the mixed weather day to go on an outing to Vinschgau. There’s a typewriter museum there,...

On Saturday, there's usually quite a bit of traffic, so we spent the day here in St. Pauls and Eppan quite relaxed, without having to drive long distances. The weather is beautiful again, the rain has cleared up, and the temperatures are just perfect. Unfortunately, it's no longer warm enough for breakfast outside, but during the day it doesn't get too hot.
Right after breakfast, we walked our vineyard route. The dew on the grass and flowers was beautiful. The grapes have almost all been harvested, but the apples have not yet been picked.
The fridge had large gaps, and our supplies were surprisingly depleted quickly, so we couldn't avoid a shopping trip. But shopping while on vacation is fun, and you can find everything you need in the local supermarket. The baker is right next door, where they have very good bread.
And soon it was time for an early siesta! Michael took a nap, and I lay in the deck chair on the terrace. After the neighbor mowed the lawn, I took the opportunity to listen to the setlist of Bryan Adams' current tour with headphones - on October 5th, I will be at the Olympiastadion with Marlene, and by then I need to become a bit more familiar with the lyrics. 😁 It's sure to be a really good concert, and I'm already looking forward to it!
A little movement was still needed, so later we drove to the Eppan High Trail and hiked from there to the icy holes. They are a unique geological formation, and really cold air comes out of the mountain. The path there is quite beautiful, winding up and down through dense forest. I think we've earned our dinner!
