Accompanied by a strong thunderstorm and rain, we want to take the high-speed train to Hua Shan. We start in Tianshui at around 22 degrees. The bus picks us up and takes us to the train station for the high-speed train - another security check of all the luggage with passport check.
It is a terrible hassle with the suitcases, and it stresses me out a bit.
The train ride is comfortable, very fast, reaching a maximum of 300 km/h. After 3 hours of travel, we arrive in Hua Shan. The Hula Mountain near the city of Huayin is a majestic mountain in the province of SHAANXI. It is known for its breathtaking natural beauty and great cultural significance. Hua is one of China's five great mountains and is a popular destination for pilgrims and adventurers alike. It is known as a spiritual center with many ancient temples and is an important place for Taoists, attracting followers who seek enlightenment and peace in the stunning nature. It also offers thrilling challenges for adventurers (steep climbs, narrow paths).
Upon arriving in the city of Huayin, we leave the train and are faced with a temperature of 36°C. This hits us hard, especially since we will also explore a large temple complex in this heat, which, however, is very beautiful. The visit is worth it.
After arriving at the hotel, there's a shower, and then we head out for dinner.
Once again, we have discovered a small, inconspicuous restaurant where we are served perfect Chinese food, just like the locals eat it.
We plan for tomorrow. I will take the cable car to about 1000 meters high and stay on the 2000-meter plateau, and then take the cable car back down. I will not make any descents or undertake any further strenuous climbing tours, as I am also troubled by headaches due to this heat and today's exertion.
