After a major traffic jam in Hamburg due to the closed Elbtunnel, we arrived in Egestorf at 9:00 PM after an exhausting exam week in Hamburg. The parking spot is right next to the barefoot park and the swimming pool, which unfortunately is closed today, Monday. The headaches are gradually getting better. Emmi and I walk a long distance. Then we have breakfast and the three of us set off again towards Hildesheim.

Trip to Hildesheim
We arrived well at the parking spot in Hildesheim and found a nice spot with a view of the lake. In the afternoon, we walked into the city, took a long, extensive stroll around the old town on the ramparts, and lingered at the cathedral square.
