Since we will unfortunately be leaving Costa Rica on March 4th, we decided to visit the Caribbean beaches here. The drive took about five hours, and it must be said that the roads were mostly two-lane, allowing for good progress. The sea here seems clearer, and there is a distinct 'Caribbean feeling'. We were very fortunate with our accommodation. The B&B has only four rooms and is run by a very friendly couple from the USA. You immediately feel at home here. A little oasis!
Next Tuesday we will then fly to Los Angeles. Since everyone who has been there says it is one of the dirtiest cities, we will only spend two nights there. Then we will continue to Nadi in the Fiji Islands for 4 nights. From there, we will fly on to Thailand via Singapore, where we will spend our last vacation before 'coming home'. Thus, we expect to return to Austria on March 27th. Unfortunately, time is passing much too quickly!!
