Thy National Park, Thyborøn, and Dolphin Safari on the North Sea

In the morning, we drove all the way to the southern part of Thy National Park to the Lodbjerg Lighthouse.

There, we took a short hike that led us through the dunes.

At first, the sun was shining, but halfway through the trail, the sky became overcast, and it even rained a little.

We wanted to take the ferry from Agger to Thyborøn.

It only departs once an hour, and we were actually a few minutes late, but we were just able to get on board as the last car and arrived in Thyborøn quickly.

The town has fewer than 2000 residents, but there are some offerings for tourists.

From the campsite, we walked along the beach towards the town center.

Along the way, we also passed Sneglehuset, a house entirely decorated with snail shells and seashells.

Our first stop was the Jyllandsakvariet seawater aquarium, where sea creatures from the North Sea are on display.

There are also touch tanks where you can pet rays, sharks, or flatfish - but we were content just to observe.

We found the exhibited shark and ray eggs particularly fascinating, as we could sometimes see the movements of the developing fish inside.
