Hello dear ones, yesterday I was so exhausted that I lost the desire to write. I just wanted to go to bed. That's why today I’m writing twice :). Yesterday, Harly and Sandra (the couple I’m currently staying with) told me that we’re going on a super nice trip, you’ll like it. First, we went up and down the mountains again, then I was told that we were now arriving at one of the worst places in Cusco. The landfill. I was already looking forward to the fact that trash would be picked up on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. What I didn’t know is that the trash, as it is picked up, goes straight to the landfill. There exists a mountain so large that what you see in this picture is only the front. It continues incredibly long in the back, covered with tarps. For the residents, it's a huge problem now since nothing is separated. I was truly horrified.

After that, we went up and down the mountain again, where you really don’t want to sit outside, but had no other choice ;). After about 40 minutes, we came to a forest, got out, and went in. On the rocks, there were still cave paintings, ancient graves, and a beautiful hiking trail (down the mountain). It was supposed to lead to a beautiful waterfall. Upon arriving at the bottom, nothing with the waterfall. No rain, no waterfall. The climate has also caught up with Peru. It was still very nice, no tourists; most tourists don’t even know this place. At some point, after many lovely minutes, it became clear to me that we have to go back up :(. Oh God. At nearly 4000 m height, it’s really exhausting, but regardless, those who like one must want the other. Eyes closed and through. Step by step, stair by stair, and those steps are not standardized ;)). But I was brave, panting like a walrus and pumping like a May beetle, I arrived at the top. Proud as a peacock and without an oxygen tent. My decision was firm; I’ll book Huamantay :) 4200 m in 1.5 hours up the mountain. This must be the high altitude air… Back again, I had a coffee gathering with Alfonso and Merry, my previous landlords, who had invited me once more. At 8:30 PM, I was back and simply fell down; I didn’t even have time to look forward to tomorrow :)
