8:00 AM, new snow on the foothills of the Andes, 3 degrees in Ushuaia....by the way, it’s summer here....
Our host from the apartment was so kind and drove us to the city this morning, including a short city tour, top-notch service
Today we had breakfast at 'Aunt Sara's', this time in Ushuaia. Afterwards, we got to know the city on a walk and visited the 'Museo del Fin del Mundo' (Museum at the End of the World), where we learned some interesting things.
Then, we headed to 'Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego', just 7 km from our accommodation. Here we again experienced the beautiful nature, the 'Ensenada (Bay) Zeratigul' with a view of the Beagle Channel, 'Lago Acigami', 'Bahia (Bay) Lapatia', or by 'Rio Pipo'. The famous Route 3 ends at Bahia Lapatia. Argentinians say this is the end of the world, but since one can see the Navarino Island (Chile) from the bay, I will debunk this in a few days.....
In the evening, we asked our landlords for a good restaurant (we wanted lamb today), and their daughter Michaela took us to the city of Ushuaia, which is 3.5 km away, what great service again! At 'Casimiro Bigua' restaurant, we could enjoy Patagonian lamb - an absolute 'dream come true'
