Selfoss - Sólheimajökull - Katla Geopark - Þakgil

September 27, 2023: We learn: you can't rely on the weather report - neither in one direction nor the other. So today, contrary to expectations, is a sunny day... we use it to visit the glacier tongue of Myrdalsjökull with its interesting ice formations and then we head on a very exciting road into the interior, the Katla Geopark and the most beautiful campsite in Iceland so far... magical, mystical, wild, wonderful...
