Hvjerfall - Viti Crater - Myvatn - Godafoss - Grenivik Camping

08/24/2023: We wake up to thick fog on the way to the circular Hvjerfall, which measures about 1 km in diameter and can be circumnavigated on a hiking trail. The sun is now shining brightly, for the first time since we arrived in Iceland. So we drive again to Viti crater, because of the emerald green color... And further along the Myvatn to Godafoss, the waterfall of the gods. In Grenvik at Eyjafjördur we find another wonderfully situated campsite. Nice shower included, hot with a slightly sulphurous smell...
