Hvammstangi - Krater Grábrók - F550 - Þingvellir

09/19/2023: At night we were pretty shaken by the increasing wind, then storm peaks that felt like at least 100 km/h - at least on the circumnavigation of the crater it was no longer possible without Heinz by the hand. Then another highlight: the F550 leads through a valley in the western highlands, bumpy in parts but easier to drive than the F35. But it started snowing at 780 meters above sea level...now we are at a campsite in Þingvellir National Park and have just eaten delicious lentil rice with coconut milk and peanuts...
