Phnom Penh Tag 9

Our 1st Moped Tour. As we hoped, wished, sensed, expected, and actually knew... as soon as we expand our radius independently, other, new, surprising experiences await us. We head towards the outskirts of Phnom Penh, cross over to the river island Koh Dach, pass through small villages, and enjoy a rural area. We see and hear clattering looms in the houses. We are on Silk Island. During our visit to the Silk Island Community Center, everything is shown to us, from the moth, from the egg to the caterpillar, the pupating caterpillar, the new moth, ultimately the silk thread from the empty cocoon. 

We can take our time, and we enjoy that. The first little adventures: where does the ferry leave from, when do we go right, when left? And where is the best place to turn around on the 6-lane road to reach the missed bridge?
