Montbéliard

We will stay in Montbéliard for two days.

The canal runs here parallel to the Allan, below the old town are the Parc de l'Île-en-Mouvement and the Parc du Près-la-Rose situated between the river and the canal.

We will begin our tour of the city along the canal heading towards Château Montbéliard Württemberg.

The castle is located opposite the train station, from there into Rue Georges Cuvier, towards the town hall, and then passing by the castle again through the Parc du Près-la-Rose.

This year Montbéliard and Ludwigsburg celebrate their 75-year city partnership, the oldest German-French city partnership, which was concluded five years after the war in 1950.

We will also spend a day waiting out bad weather and enjoying the tranquility.
