The La Confluence district is characterized by its partly modern architecture along the Quai Rambaud. Starting with the futuristically designed Musée des Confluences, the path continues along the Saône past house number 59, the Cube Vert, and the Cube Orange. The glass facade of house number 59 is worth a closer look, as it does not reflect the part in front of it, but incorporates the continuation of the Saône's bank into the facade.
Noteworthy are the two buildings Cube Vert and Cube Orange, designed by architects Dominique Jakob and Brendan MacFarlane.
