Today we will travel along the Selbusjøen Lake through Tømra, Innbygda to Selbu, and return via Sneisen.

The municipality of Selbu consists of the villages: Dragsten, Flora, Innbygda, Mebonden, Øverbygda, Selbustrand, Tømra, and Vikvarvet. The administrative center is Mebonden, which has 914 residents and is home to the oldest church in the municipality dating back to 1150. In Mebonden, there is a nursing home, a volunteer center, a library, a handicraft shop, the town hall, and three schools (an elementary school (Bell skole), a middle school (Selbu ungdomsskole), and a high school (Selbu videregående skole)). Additionally, Mebonden is home to the island Årsøya, where celebrations and other events take place year-round.
