Departure from Auckland and our unique accommodation Terry and Cindys Bed and Breakfast, we had a cozy room and the best part was the breakfast, which was enjoyed with the hosts in their living room and Terry made amazing scrambled eggs every morning with fresh herbs from the garden, incredible.....
Visit to Hobbiton in Matamata, where the original set of the Shire from 'The Lord of the Rings' can be seen. It's impressive how much effort was put into building the Shire, considering that only a small part of the movies were filmed there. Definitely worth it.
Then we continued our journey to the second destination Rotorua
