Day 9 Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland

Visit to the Geysir Wonderland near Roturua, first we saw an artificially induced geyser eruption, it was somehow a tourist trap, looked spectacular though, but it was too staged, didn't cost anything extra though.

Afterwards, a nice hike through the thermal area, unfortunately with what felt like a million Chinese people constantly cutting in front....

The detour to the thermal pools was very good for relaxation.

For dinner in the Eat Street of Rotorua at CBK, there were two types of lamb, which were served raw on a hot stone, and could then be roasted to one's liking, really delicious
