First, take a short city walk through Picton, a charming town where the ferries between the islands arrive and depart.
Drive towards Linkwater, where there are beautiful viewpoints over Grove Arm with its numerous bays. Continue along Kenepuru Road along Kenepuru Sound with several bays and stopping points right by the water. Take a quick swim to cool off at Mistletoe Bay, a beautiful swimming spot with a sandy beach and shallow water. The further drive to Kenepuru Head was relatively unspectacular, as there are hardly any more viewpoints, it basically extends to Mistletoe Bay. There are also other paths along the fjords.
Picton is also beautiful in the evening, with many pubs, etc. In good weather, you can also sit outside with a view of the harbor.
