We left the North Island today, with experiences that are hard to put into words.

The crossing was calm and the weather was good. The entrance to Picton was just amazing, I have entered many ports around the world, but this place was simply overwhelming, not even the entrance to Hong Kong can compare.

Tomorrow, the South Island adventure begins.
