Sandsculptures in Søndervig

The Sandsculpture Festival in Søndervig in 2023 is themed on Greek Mythology. From Zeus to Hades and Aphrodite to Artemis and Apollo, 12 Greek gods are depicted. We have been there a few years ago, but the sculptures made of special sand are always fascinating. By the way: They are made entirely of (pressed) sand and water, yet they last throughout the whole summer. The main attraction is the large sculpture wall, which is 7 meters high and 200 meters long. 30 artists have created the impressive works.
