From the Vegetable Garden of Europe to Luxury Camping by the Sea – a Day Full of Highlights
After a hearty breakfast, we set off towards Almería – passing by endless greenhouses that are rightly known as the “Vegetable Garden of Europe.” A sight that left us in awe: as far as the eye can see, the white sheets glimmer in the sun – impressive what grows and flourishes here!
Our destination: Wecamp Cabo de Gata – a true stroke of luck! The campsite is beautifully located with a view of the sea, offering a stylish pool, a cozy café, and everything a camper's heart desires. It's a great place to live!
At lunchtime, Chef Stefan served “Toast à la Stefan” in style – quick, delicious, and perfect for a small hunger in between. In the evening, the next highlight: juicy burgers from the grill – of course, cooked by Stefan as well. Delicious is an understatement!
We spent the afternoon leisurely winding down with a walk to Las Negras. There, we sat in a charming café right by the water – enjoying a blissful 28 degrees and a sea that, at 19.7 degrees, tempted everyone except me to jump in.
A day you could only wish for: sunny, enjoyable, and full of little happy moments.
