April 23, 2025 – Hello Malaga & first leg!
This morning we started in Vienna and flew to Malaga. At the airport, we were greeted by Stefan – our children had brought the motorhome to Spain, and now we take the wheel and start our adventure!
Malaga welcomed us with sunshine and pleasant temperatures – a perfect start. We explored the old town with its charming streets, enjoyed a special café with a sea view, bought fresh fruit at the market hall, strolled leisurely along the harbor, and climbed the Castillo de Gibralfaro. From up there, we had a magnificent view over the city. After that, we also visited the Alcazaba fortress – history to touch.
After a total of 12.7 km on foot, it was time to move on. We drove about 50 kilometers with the motorhome until we reached the highly recommended campsite Cortijo San Miguel – our home for the first night.
In the evening, we took a walk to Neria and ended the day with an excellent meal.
Tomorrow we’ll continue spontaneously. We go where our feelings and the sun take us.
