The Adventures of Laxiye (in the Philippines)

Hello 2026!

For the first time since the beginning of the journey, we traveled separately for about 10 days. I visited my friend and fellow musician Laurenz in Romblon. This involved first going to Manila and then a 9-hour ferry ride to the island of Romblon. There was the 'Biniray' festival the following weekend, an annual event featuring a parade of various drumming groups and dance performances. As a bonus surprise, I had the honor of sharing the stage with Laurenz's crew 'Passepartout' and getting people to celebrate.

All in all, it was an incredible adventure!
