Day 3 - Hike in Tromsø

My morning started with a very nice conversation with Juel (Thank you so much for helping me with my bike! It was really amazing. I wish you a good trip with plenty of sunshine or nice weather but no rain.) before he already headed towards Senja (a breathtaking group of islands that is on my list).

The weather forecast for today was mixed, so I decided to take a short bike ride to Tromsø, leave my bike there, and walk across the island. The island was mostly developed along the edges, so right in the middle (on the ridge) there is a lot of nature. The Norwegians are really into sports. There are many trail runners and mountain bikers of all ages going at a remarkable pace. It was a truly beautiful, relaxed hike where the sun even peeked out occasionally.

After that, I went to a small bakery where, in the absence of a cinnamon roll, I enjoyed an apple-cinnamon cake.

By the way: The streets in Tromsø are partly so steep that I had to simply get off and push my bike. Berlin condition and all…
