Tag 1 - Hike in the Midnight Sun

The flight went smoothly. 23 minutes after landing (…unthinkable in Berlin) I was sitting in a taxi with my bike and luggage. My accommodation is right by the fjord and has everything I need. My host is really nice and approachable - it will be totally uncomplicated.

After a quick shopping trip, I packed my hiking backpack and set off in wonderful weather. Ultimately, it was nearly 25 km with 1000m elevation gain and breathtaking viewpoints. I kept grinning to myself - the midnight sun is an exhilarating phenomenon for me! Around 2:30 AM, I was back near the accommodation and sat briefly by the shore. Then fatigue really hit me…
