After a relaxing day at the beach in Cambodia, we continued our journey by bus across the border to Vietnam. The first night was an adventure. We stayed in a very simple homestay, allowing us to experience what it feels like to sleep like a majority of the Vietnamese population.
The next stop was Ho Chi Minh City, a bustling city with lots of people, shops, cafes, and bars. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to 5 of our travel buddies here, who have become very dear to me. The weather reflected our emotional state as it poured like buckets! ๐๐
After having to switch to a night bus last minute and settling into our 'beds' completely drenched, the journey continued to Nha Trang.
The rain didn't let up on the first day in this beautiful coastal town, so we had to improvise. A bowling afternoon greatly improved our mood.
Fortunately, the weather was much better the next day and we were able to enjoy the beach after a stroll through the city.
