Ho Chi Minh, day 3

Another, rather unproductive, day is coming to an end πŸ€“πŸ˜‚. We woke up at 8:30 am and went to have breakfast. Unfortunately, the boss was already so excited this morning that he made us a Vietnamese breakfast. Specifically, noodle soup with chicken and ginger. He meant well, but it's not really our idea of breakfast, especially not with ginger πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€

Then we went out to see a bit more of the city and some sights. Well, at least we walked past them πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ˜‚. Honestly, we didn't feel like visiting temples or pagodas anymore. But the church we visited was beautiful. It looked a bit like a fairytale castle 🏰 because it was pink.

Then we went on a search for a cafΓ© because we really couldn't stand walking around in this weather anymore (luxury problem, we know πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€πŸ˜‚). We ended up back on the bar street and had something to drink and eat there.

After that, we went back to the hotel because we were done and tired (we want to emphasize again, it's really hot here with 33 degrees β˜„πŸ˜‚). After showering and chilling, we watched another episode of gzsz and waited for it to get dark so we could go out and eat again πŸ˜‚. So we did, and it was much more pleasant to walk around. We quickly found another small, cheap place to eat. The food was really good (even though they didn't cook it themselves, it was delivered to us by scooter πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€πŸ˜‚). But because the chairs were so uncomfortable, we quickly changed locations and went to the bar we were at earlier. There we had a few drinks, watched some people, and then went back to the hotel at half past nine.

(Still, we walked 13 km today πŸ‘ŒπŸ½πŸ˜‚)

Tomorrow we will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, we are excited and hope that tomorrow morning we can choose our own breakfast and don't have to eat noodle soup.

So wish us luck, adios πŸ€™πŸΎ
