Hello Peanut πŸ‘‹πŸΎ

We're back again, from our last (πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯Ί) stop in Bangkok.

We arrived here on Monday, around 6 am, without a plan.

So we walked from the train station to our hotel because no cafes or bistros were open yet.

Our hotel was right in Chinatown, luckily not far from the train station.

We were able to check in, but unfortunately not into the room yet. So we dropped off our bags and went for breakfast. After breakfast, we went out to explore the area and see some sights, we had until 12 o'clock πŸ€“.Β

After walking 10 km and being completely exhausted because it's really hot here again compared to Chiang Mai, we went back to the hotel. Our hotel also had a rooftop bar and a pool. Good for us, we spent the rest of the day here, because we were done with the world πŸ˜‚.

In the evening, we went out again to grab something to eat. But since almost everything is closed on Mondays, we had to give up our beloved street food and went to a seemingly inconspicuous restaurant. Inside, it was huge and completely full. The food was really good too, even though it was actually Chinese cuisine πŸ‘ŒπŸ½πŸ˜‚.Β

Afterwards, we went back to the hotel. We already got some wine and beer at noon and celebrated Lara's birthday in the hotel room πŸ₯³πŸ˜‚.

The next day was all about the pool β˜€. In the evening, we went to the night market again, which was open this time (and it's really crowded here). Unfortunately, we lost the desire to go to a bar again, so we spent the rest of the evening drinking beer and eating in the room - we know how to party.

The next day, we skipped breakfast. But we still got up and visited the Grand Palace and the accompanying temple. What can we say, it was crowded but really impressive.Β

Afterwards, we only went to a cafe (we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks because they simply didn't get it there) and then back to the hostel. Because at our age, we're already pussies, we were really tired and just watched Netflix and packed our bags. We went out briefly in the evening to grab something to eat and then went back again.

Today is, unfortunately, the last day (still feels weird, we both haven't really realized it yet.) That means we have already checked out and are killing time before going to the airport at 4 pm.

It's weird to write this, but we'll see each other tomorrow morning, fresh and lively, we know you're excited to see your rays of sunshine again πŸ˜˜πŸ˜‚.
