From Phnom Penh, we smoothly and relaxingly took the boat across the border into Vietnam and arrived in the beautiful Mekong Delta in Can Tho. Fortunately, my accommodation Nguyen Shack was located outside the city, wonderfully situated on a small tributary of the Mekong, surrounded by greenery.
From here, I took boat trips to several floating markets, a cocoa plantation, and a noodle factory. I also went on a bike tour to explore the surroundings, including a visit to an elementary school. The rest of the time, I chilled in a hammock, read books, and observed passing boats. Everything is very peaceful here.
