Today we took it easy, no real plan. We definitely did not want to go to Rome, didn’t feel like spending ages on the bus and especially didn't want to deal with the crowds. So we took a walk through Civitavecchia. First, we had to take the bus to the port terminal, which took some time. Besides us, there were also many other ships in the harbor. It was quite busy.
A stroll to the sea and a market was enough for us. After a cappuccino, pizza for the kids, and some Italian ice cream, we headed back on board. The men went for a run and to the sauna, while the women relaxed on the deck enjoying the sun with an Aperol. In the evening, we went to the Atlantic for a 5-course dinner. This time, it took quite a while here, but we could observe the other ships departing in the meantime, better than the movies.
After our meal, we met the others at Deck 4 in my ship's bar and played some cards.
We headed to bed a bit earlier today, tomorrow is a sea day for relaxing and chilling.
