Wrinkled from last night's game evening, the day starts late with a porridge from the extra traveling, self-proclaimed home-made bus, modestly appearing 'professional chef' who meticulously refers to his sweet-bitter-sour-salty formula. Respect!
We enjoy the journey with games, stories, and observing the special running style that apparently only Icelandic horses can master. Here and there we question the locals about the salmon occurrences in the area, but of course we do not (yet) receive any secret tips to make Iceland a little easier for some noble fish. A young group with a fishing rod and a fish in hand reacts caught and evasive and probably considers us a disguised tourist fishery surveillance command.
A surprising highlight of the day was the Kudafoss, or rather the Kolugljúfur Canyonder, which is probably not excessively known but all the more beautiful.
