Day 8 - Hue
My journey to the ancient imperial city of Hue actually starts in Hanoi on board the Sleeping Bus. You can imagine it like this: In three rows, bunk beds are lined up one behind...

A 4-hour bus ride took me from the city of Danang to the historic town of Hoi An. I am particularly looking forward to the warmer weather and the slower pace here. I was warmly welcomed at my new accommodation, and the receptionist Vicky showed me the important places in and around Hoi An on a map. I have been given a very pretty room with a small balcony, and I am now enjoying the tranquility of my own room and especially my own bathroom.

After a shower and a short break, I walked to Be Be Tailor, the highly recommended tailor that is not far from my accommodation. I spent about two hours there, selecting designs and fabrics and getting measured. I can come for the first fitting in two days.

After that, I strolled through the charming old town. Hoi An is an exceptionally beautiful town, and I am excited to explore it.
