Koh Yao Yai + Phuket

On our last day in Koh Yao Yai, we leisurely did nothing. Slept in, had breakfast, went to the beach, swam in the sea and the pool, and soaked up the sun.
In the evening, there was a heavy rain shower that we initially enjoyed at the bar and later in the restaurant.
The highlight of the evening was certainly the fresh seafood and grilled vegetables that one could choose beforehand at a small counter.
Saturday started similarly to the previous day, as our ferry was scheduled for 14:00.
One last swim in the crystal-clear sea, watching fish, and packing in peace.

The ferry ride to Phuket on a slow boat was calm and comfortable, allowing for good sleep.
After the peaceful days, Phuket, with its many people, was a bit of a social shock for Heide, but the bathtub on the balcony made up for it. Plus, we didn't need to change hotels.
We took a little time to explore Phuket Old Town. For dinner, we treated ourselves to a hotpot from a clay pot, a little away from the crowded city center, which was very delicious and affordable.

Thus, the last day for Heide has also arrived. Perhaps I might miss the flight after all…
