Today there isn't much to tell. After a cozy morning, an extensive shower, and a slight delay caused by the campground's high-tech setup (everything online is so great until...

With a slight delay, here is the blog entry for yesterday, I confess - I was too tired in the evening. Our little hike of about 12 km exhausted me more than I would like to admit 😄
But let's start from the beginning: we decided to set off from the campsite and not drive too far, even though there are some great sights to see in Rondane. With so much to choose from, we couldn't possibly see it all anyway. So, a small route. We bundled up warmly, it’s only 2° here and the wind adds to the chill. But that won't hold us back.

We are enjoying the tour and I am constantly on the lookout for reindeer, which are still supposed to be around here. Unfortunately, aside from many hoof prints and an impressive amount of reindeer and sheep droppings, I can't spot any. But I won’t give up and continue to hope for an encounter with moose, reindeer, trolls, elves... let's wait and see what shows up 🤓
A little highlight is the Høvringen Canyon. Here, Günter speculates whether I might still pursue a second career as a National Geographic photographer. Sounds tempting, but I think I would still need to practice a bit 😄

About halfway through our tour, we reach the targeted lake and look for a spot to sit that is not too windy. Quickly, the sandwiches we brought are devoured and then we make our way back. Because honestly, it's not very pleasant in this weather. By now, it’s too cold for me to take photos, so I bundle up as best I can in my hat, scarf, and four layers of clothing and we pick up the pace.

The return trip seems to go faster and we are relieved when we are back in the camper and can turn on the heating. We spend the rest of the day cozily inside, planning our departure for the next day, treating ourselves to a can of stew, and enjoying the view.
Today is another travel day, our next stop is supposed to be Trondheim. I am already looking forward to it 🤩
