The paradise of gentle giants, Uganda

With the balloon over the Masai Mara, you get a unique view from above of the savannah and its wildlife.

The Murchison Falls are located in the northwest of Uganda. They are a powerful waterfall of the White Nile that plunges 43 meters down here. Many fish do not survive this, and the crocodiles are already waiting.

In the rural areas of Uganda, farmers practice subsistence farming, mainly for their own needs. Each family grows their own beans, cassava, and cooking bananas, and livestock primarily consists of chickens and goats.

The Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the Rainmaker or Moon Mountains, are the third highest massif in Africa. They lie between Uganda and the Congo. There is very high humidity in the lowlands, warm/wet in the higher altitudes cool/wet.

The almost 1000 km2 national park on the Ugandan side regulates tourism. In Bwindi Impenetrable, you can observe the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
