At the northernmost tip of Denmark.
Today we have arrived in Skagen, our destination on this tour. We are at Skagen Camping. The site is very beautiful and natural, the pitches are spacious and surrounded by many hedges. There are nearly 500 camping spots, two sanitary houses that, while they may be a bit aged, are very clean and well-maintained. Here, too, you will find the mentioned family bathrooms. They also have a swimming pool available for free use. The staff is extremely friendly, as are the people here in general. Of course, there are plenty of free tips as well. We pay 48.00 euros per night here.
There is much to see, including a picturesque town with beautiful houses, several lighthouses, the sandy church, and Grenen, the northernmost point of Denmark. Here, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea meet. Upon arriving at the parking lot in Grenen, one should take the sandworm, a tractor with a passenger trailer, to the beach. It was fresh and windy, but when do you have the chance to stand with one leg in the North Sea and the other in the Baltic Sea😄😄!
What continually impresses us is the calmness, friendliness, and helpfulness of the people here in Denmark. We miss this in Germany quite often these days.
