Hanstholm

Hanstholm and the Olsen Gang.

Today we arrived in Hanstholm and are now at the Hanstholm Thy Holiday Park campsite. A vast area in the middle of nature with large natural pitches, all equipped with electricity and water connections. The center is about 4 km away. There is a bunker museum here, currently featuring a special exhibition about the Olsen Gang, which we definitely had to see. The Olsen Gang is a cult crime series from the 60s and 70s from Denmark, revered by many people in my age group. This part, The Olsen Gang Goes to Jutland, was filmed here to a large extent. That's why we definitely wanted to come here, but there will be a separate post about that soon. As mentioned, the site is very large, the sanitary facilities are somewhat aged but clean and adequate. The cost was 55 euros per night.
