Calm, Rain & Romance🌧️♥️

After the delicious breakfast, we wanted to spend our last day at the Indian Ocean Lodge hotel in a relaxed manner. So we lounged by the pool for a few hours and only left our sunbeds to swim.🏊🏻‍♀️ In the afternoon, we ordered cocktails and a small snack at the pool bar.🍹 Afterwards, we just managed to take a short walk on the beach before a storm rolled in. As soon as we got back to our hotel room, the wind picked up and it started to pour.🌧️ So we took another power nap, ate the remaining birthday cake from yesterday, and watched a bit of reality TV.🍰📺 Just in time for sunset, the rain stopped and we walked along the beach again. Unfortunately, it was still very cloudy.😐 Instead of a beautiful sunset, we admired the quantity of seaweed washed ashore by the storm and enjoyed the company of a friendly dog.🌿🐕 At dinner (today à la carte), we faced the next surprise: The table was beautifully set again - this time in honor of our honeymoon.♥️ There was even champagne ready, which we graciously declined and instead ordered non-alcoholic drinks. 🍸 Overall, it was a very relaxing day where we could recharge for new adventures on the next island 'La Digue', which we will visit tomorrow.😍
